Material handling (drayage) is the process of receiving your materials or equipment at the event site. The service includes delivery to your booth, removal of empty containers for storage during the event, return of empty containers to your booth after the event, delivery of your materials to the marshalling yard, and loading them onto your carrier for outbound shipping.
All material handling charges for direct shipments are already included in your space fee, regardless of the weight or number of shipments, as long as your shipment or trucks check in at the EXPO PACK Marshalling Area on the date and time assigned for your move-in to the event. This prepaid fee also includes a one-time placement of exhibit equipment and materials. Any additional hoisting or booth assembly work will be at the exhibitor’s expense. You must be present at the booth to take advantage of this one-time placement.
Any load requiring assembly, depalletizing, unpacking, unscrewing, stacking, or special equipment for unloading (including 30,000 lb forklifts and cranes), as well as any other condition preventing your machinery or load from being ready for display, does NOT qualify for the one-time placement. Additional hoisting and material handling charges may apply.
NOTE: The space fee includes material handling only for the exhibit materials and equipment of the Primary Exhibitor. Any product or equipment not coming from the Primary Exhibitor will be subject to additional charges. The Primary Exhibitor is defined as the entity signing the Exhibit Space Application and Contract.
