Meet the Speakers!

Adriana Rueda

L'Oréal

Adriana Rueda is currently director of Packaging Development Innovation for Latin America at L'Oréal, where she leads the regional open development strategy and drives portfolio transformation through innovative packaging solutions. With more than 16 years of experience in top-tier global companies, she has built a strong track record in research and development, specializing in materials, manufacturing processes, and end-to-end project management across consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, food, and cosmetics.

Before taking on executive roles at L’Oréal, Adriana held leadership positions at COEXPAN, Groupe Rocher, SC Johnson, Bimbo, S. A. de C. V., and Pfizer. In each role, she strengthened her expertise in R&D management, business case preparation, operational continuity, food safety, and strategic resource allocation, leading multifunctional and multicultural teams across North and Central America.

Recognized for her strategic clarity, reliability, and competitive mindset, Adriana stands out for her ability to mobilize teams toward tangible results. Her passion for tackling major challenges drives her ambition to become a global benchmark in packaging material innovation and in the agile, successful implementation of new products in dynamic and highly demanding markets.

Luiza Adelita de Andrade

Henkel

Andrade holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Paraná in Brazil and brings more than 12 years of experience in packaging research, development, and engineering.

She has held leadership roles in packaging development as well as engineering and technology in leading consumer goods companies such as Grupo Boticário, Beiersdorf, and Henkel. During her more than four years at Beiersdorf, she led the regional packaging sustainability strategy, focusing on design for recycling, PCR content, and consumer-centered innovation.

She also served as Packaging Manager at Walmart de México y Centroamérica, where she led the packaging strategy for the company’s private label brands with a strong emphasis on sustainability. She is currently Regional Packaging Development Manager for the high-growth hair and body care category at Henkel.
